On 16th July 2025, a delegation from South Africa, facilitated by the Directorate of Research, Innovation, and Extension (DRIE), arrived in Kenya.
The team was officially received by DiNAO on 17th July 2025, led by Professor Mervin Meyer. Their core objective was clear—to deepen international collaboration in research, education, and innovation.
This visit went beyond symbolic partnership; it was a strategic initiative aimed at advancing and internationalizing the academic structure of the host university. Discussions focused on:
- Joint teaching programs
- Collaborative research projects
- Community outreach efforts
All these efforts were designed to foster mutual growth between the Kenyan institution and its South African counterpart.

- School of Health Sciences
- School of Biological, Physical, Mathematical, and Actuarial Sciences
- School of Agricultural and Food Sciences
